Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) – Obliterating psychiatric Abuse

Most people recognize the inherent evil in psychiatry, as evidenced by public surveys that list a psychiatrist as the last person they would seek out for help.

CCHRBut most people have no way of knowing the extent of that evil — that more than 100,000 people die each year in mental institutions, that 20 million children worldwide are on highly addictive mind-altering psychiatric drugs and that every 75 seconds another citizen is incarcerated by psychiatry. Instead, the job of informing the public about the despicable truth of psychiatry — and why it has been labeled an industry of death — has fallen to the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR).

CCHRThe IAS has long supported the efforts of CCHR, resulting in the distribution of millions of publications that have made psychiatric abuses a focus of public scrutiny and official concern. To help CCHR accomplish its task, the Association funded the establishment of the international headquarters of CCHR in Hollywood, California. The remarkable centerpiece of that facility is CCHR’s museum — Psychiatry: An Industry of Death. With the opening of these new premises in December 2005, the global campaign to bring psychiatry under the law and clean up the entire field of mental health has taken on a whole new dimension — one that makes the obliteration of psychiatric abuse an inevitability.

IAS-sponsored CCHR brochures

Since 1992, IAS grants have funded the production and distribution of more than 13 million CCHR booklets, informational pamphlets, investigatory white papers and public advocacy advertisements, as well as two books exposing psychiatry’s abuses and its Nazi past: Psychiatry: The Ultimate Betrayal and Psychiatrists: The Men Behind Hitler.

These IAS-sponsored publications now comprise an extensive library of materials on psychiatric abuses and crimes which CCHR distributes widely. Through these publications, psychiatry’s invasive and destructive influence at all levels of society is well documented: from the false labeling and druggging of children to the abuse of fragile elderly patients with electroshock and heavy mind-damaging drugs.

Most recently, twenty separate booklets were published, covering the broad spectrum of psychiatry’s attempt to subvert society. Each thoroughly researched booklet provides facts and figures and educates readers on the exact results of psychiatric abuse and shows what people can do to protect themselves, their families and their communities.

CCHR Traveling ExhibitCCHR Traveling Exhibit

CCHR International’s headquarters in Los Angeles houses a permanent exhibit that displays the deplorable 330- year history of psychiatry, its abuses and failures.

This powerful graphic message is now spreading to major cities around the world with the new traveling CCHR exhibits, which are also funded by grants from the IAS. Presented in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, the modular format accommodates many types of venues, including malls, public buildings and convention halls.

CCHR Traveling ExhibitThe exhibit walks the visitor through psychiatry’s deathly legacy and the horrors of psychiatric “treatments.” It shows that medical doctors have condemned fraudulent and harmful psychiatric methods.

After being shown at the NAACP national conference in Miami, a unanimous resolution was passed by the leaders of that organization condemning psychiatric drugging.

In Mexico City, the exhibit was presented in the lobby of the House of Representatives. Among the hundreds who toured was a federal legislator who subsequently proposed a law to protect children from psychiatric abuse.

To date, over 380,000 people in more than 160 cities in 17 countries have visited the exhibits. They have walked away with the realization that the public’s low opinion of psychiatry is due to the profession’s continuous and consistent failure to produce a proven result.

The CCHR is of course a front of the church of scientology, intent on discrediting medical practice, not out of care for the patients (who are worse off) but in order to direct the vulnerable into the arms of the “church”. yay.

Glad you brought up this false information so I can give your the real story.

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a non-profit, public benefit organization dedicated to investigating and exposing psychiatric violations of human rights. It also ensures that criminal acts within the psychiatric industry are reported to the proper authorities and acted upon.

CCHR was founded in 1969 by the Church of Scientology and the internationally acclaimed author, Dr. Thomas Szasz, Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at the State University of New York, Syracuse. At that time, the victims of psychiatry were a forgotten minority group, warehoused under terrifying conditions in institutions around the world. Because of this, CCHR penned a Mental Health Declaration of Human Rights that has served as its guide for mental health reform.

If you are serious about helping anyone, do it openly, in public, for free, on the web, now. Tell everyone your exact methods and procedures. Disclose everything now. You should not fear letting out the truth.

But I guarantee you will only disclose what you want. You will not disclose the fact that everything you do is linked to LRH. Because that is the truth and anything else is a lie. And if you hold back only one thing, then you remove all validity from your claims.

Not sure what you’re talking about, SP. I am “disclosing” everything here on this Blog, open to the public for free on the web…

Finding myself diagnosed, incarcerated, and drugged is the most violently indignant thing that has happened to me in my lifetime. Once diagnosed initially future doctors merely refer to that history to make further diagnosis. I have found myself incarcerated in the state hospital on many occasions over the last few years while having broken no law, and have found no substantial defense in a court of law. Judges to date merely subordinate to doctor’s that legalize their methods for treatment. Doctor’s are too powerful, and have far too much authority in our society to devastate lives. Having my life ruined by psychiatry instead of served by it is my chief complaint. Rather then the doctor serving my needs, I am made to serve the doctors beck, and call with court ordered appointments, and mandated drugging. The American dream I enjoyed with a Family home and business of my own was destroyed by the heavy hand of an evil industry. Doctors are merely drug pushers with the legal authority of judge. The doctor must be put in his proper place as a subordinate servant of the community rather than magistrate of it. The constitutional rights of the citizen are circumvented, and moot to the totalitarian authority that has been complacently seated with the doctor. Letting my guard down with a doctor to see what psychiatry had to offer me was the greatest mistake of my life, and cost me my marriage, and business. The APA is an insult to the human race, and psychiatry it’s number one threat.

Protect yourself, and your family and friends from psychiatry. The best we can seem to do for now is to warn people about the heavy handed evil industry of death, and go after the drug pushers with damage claims. The pills do more damage than good more often than not, and should have never been promoted. It is astonishing to me how many doctors are willing to prescribe pills with the clear warning of risk of death and detriment well advertized with them. I can tell you that since I started recieving so called treatment, I have suffered socially, financially, physically, and mentally without any recourse. To enter into psychiatry is to fall into a long deep pit noone can help you out of. With my experience in Psychiatry I question the very motives for treatments that do more harm than good. Is a brain dead, and staring at the walls dying really our desired result? I was in perfect health before I began treatment, and now I suffer anginas, lethargy, muscle pain, mental anguish about treatment, I am afraid my health has been wasted beyond recovery, and I am far less confident I will live to see Maturity with this condition. Rather than looking at human solutions that work to help people, doctors have opted to use deadly drugs against people, and our lives are made ever miserable by this industry. Drugged against you will for life, incarcerated at the doctors whim, and any word to the doctor could have you treated with ever more drastic measures such as electoshock. Worse than death in my opinion is treatment you can expect to recieve from psychiatry at this point in time. It is of no help whatsoever to you to seek help from a doctor of psychiatry. The industry must be subordinated and made to help people rather than harm them.
